Dr. Kim brings extensive education, training and experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to the Maryland Center and comes highly recommended by the Director of the OMFS Residency Program at the University of Maryland, and our own Dr. Alexandra Forest, who was in residency with Dr. Kim.
After receiving his DDS at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, Dr. Kim completed his post-graduate, hospital-based residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. While in residency, he also participated in an oral surgery clerkship, an honors program that provides additional education and experience with surgical extractions and placement of dental implants.
Throughout dental school and his residency program, Dr. Kim served in various leadership positions, presented several lectures, attended numerous continuing education programs, and was involved in clinical research. He also volunteered through Mission of Mercy to provide oral surgery care for underserved people in Maryland.
Dr. Kim maintains memberships in various professional associations and societies, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Maryland State Dental Association.
